These sheets are sensational! My boyfriend described them appropriately as "buttery". It's honestly like sleeping in a cool, silky cloud without awkward slipping and the corners popping off like my experience with satin sheets. I was anxious to see how they washed, fearing the dreaded ironing board would be a must. I washed them in cold water on the delicate cycle and dried them on delicate as well, and they came out just fine. The only thing that could have been touched up with the iron was the hem on the top sheet and the pillowcases where the fabric is doubled over, but I just pressed it out with my hand. They have very deep pockets and fit great on my pillow top mattress without the fitted sheet coming off during sleep. I originally intended them for a 17 inch memory foam mattress and know they will be perfect for it, as well. These are without doubt the nicest sheets I have ever owned and from a wonderful shipper, too. Great purchase!
